Subject: birthday show for me
wish i was there. lost sailor remains me of old richie havens songs - drowning in loniness lost somewhere where no one can me - wanting someonw to but not wanting someone to at the same time. this is fast becoming one of my favorite songs. mellow mellow mellow but lonely lonely lonely at the same time. something we all feel at one time or another. like being under water trying to breathe but can't but still trying nonetheless. i love it. if i had my way i'd tear this ole building down. is that me or civilization in general? am i the saint of circumstance or is it only golden slumbers trying to pick up scarlet begonia at terrapin station while sitting on the new potato caboose? i wonder. i'll figure it out tomorrow but enjoy the ride today.

Subject: Awesome show!
I love this one, pretty much from start to finish. I wish they would do Looks Like Rain more often. Not sure I can agree with the Lost/Saint gripe, it was gone for far too long. The first set is a ripper too!

Subject: great sound for an audiance recording
I wish they would take lost sailor, and saint out there shows ever since the first time i heard it has been over played now not so much. It just reminds me of 20 mins wasted in a show. Or maybe the predicatabliity

Subject: Thanks for the upload
I was able to fix up your upload so streaming will work and so on. There may be a lag where the old files aren't available for download anymore but the new files aren't generated yet. It won't be long.

Subject: First Time
Thanks alot. This is our first recording so I sitll dont even know how to make the set streamable. As far as the first set we got in late because security was tight so we were only able to set up during set break.

Source: This was recorded from the taping section. Which was at the end of the floor up in the right hand corner. The mic stand was taped to the wall at the back of the section. The mics were about 7-8 feet high. The mics used were Nuemann KM140s used in a XY pattern. These mics are the KM184 with active cables and 184s are the modern 84s. These mics were input into a friends Sound devices 722 and analoged output to my Sound devices 744T and recorded at 192/24 with 744T's AD converters.

Source: Further Live 7/24/2011 at PNC Bank Arts Center. Recorded with Schoeps MK41s on CMC6xt bases with 1 inches of wind tec foam. On Grace design lunatec V3 mic preamps only no digital. Recorded on Sound devices 744T at 192/24 with 744T's AD converters. Mics 7 1/2 feet hi. I was about ten rows back just left of the right speaker stack. So the sound is more from the right in the mix but still sounds great. Like schoeps up front do.
